Glass (Materials for Inspirational Design)

“Glass” features more than 75 examples of glass, one of the oldest and most traditional of materials. These range from Murano’s 1000-year-old millefiori method, updated to appeal to contemporary tastes, to the new processes which enable architectural glass to be both customized and texturized, and scientific uses as varied as fibre-optic lights and a new dermatological cream. It includes glass in all its applications including architecture, furniture, lighting and domestic products, and in all its forms mosaic, sandblasted, etched, coloured, texturised and moulded.
