مما كان يحز في نفسي أني حينما كنت أطالع فتح إفريقية في كتاب ما لم نجد فيه من آثار الفتح العربي في ليبيا ما يعطي للقارئ صورة لهذا الوطن العربي وأعمال العرب فيه فأدركت أن ما يتعلق منه بليبيا لا يزال مبعثراً في بطون الكتب، ويحتاج إلى جمع وتنسيق، فأردت أن أقوم بهذه المهمة كفاء لما لطرابلس علينا من فضل التربية وحقوق الأمومة، وقياماً بواجب الوطن وما يتطلبه في حياته الجديدة من تضافر جهود أبنائه على تدعيم نهضته الثقافية… فاعتزمت الأمر، ورجعت إلى كل كتاب علمت أنه يتصل بالفتح العربي في ليبيا من قريب أو بعيد، وأخذت منه كل ما يتعلق بليبيا.
وإني إذ أقدم إلى أبناء العروبة هذا الكتاب أعتقد أني كشفت لهم عن حلقة من تاريخ قطعة من وطن العربية كانت مجهولة لكثير منهم، وسيجدون فيه وخصوصاً أبناء ليبيا-ما يفتح أمامهم باب البحث، لإكمال الناقص من تاريخ ليبيا العزيزة.SKU: 9789959292001
